Dear dont starve fans. Actually there is a very cheap and delicious food you can obtain at dont starve easily (except for wigfrid hahaha). It is a butterfly wing, and for bonus you can get butter, well less chance tho.


Its easy to do it. Dont pick flower, let the butterfly flies around. Tips how to do easy-kill is follow the butterfly from some distance and wait it till whirling around (usually 3 times), so when its start whirling, kill it. Or 2nd tips are wait the butterfly to stay at some flower then kill. Easy right?

Eating butterfly wing will give you 9.375 hunger and 8 sanity. For butter gives you 25 hunger and 40 hp :D such a healthy food. And how if you dont have flower near your base? No worry, make a bug net and catch a live butterfly. You can plant the butterfly at ground by hold it and click on the ground. :D now you ready to kill butterfly.

Salam untuk Dont Starve fans. Sebenarnya ada makanan yang sangat murah dan lezat yang dapat diperoleh di Don't Starve dengan mudah (kecuali untuk wigfrid hahaha). Itu adalah sayap kupu-kupu, dan untuk bonus kamu bisa mendapatkan mentega, walaupun kemungkinannya kecil.

Sangat mudah untuk melakukannya. Jangan memetik bunga, biarkan kupu-kupu muncul dan beterbangan . Tips bagaimana melakukan easy-kill adalah ikuti kupu-kupunya tapi jaga jarak dan tunggu sampai berputar-putar (biasanya 3 kali), jadi saat kupu-kupu mulai berputar, langsung pukul. Atau tips kedua adalah tunggu kupu-kupu untuk hinggap di beberapa bunga kemudian bunuh. Mudah kan?

Memakan sayap kupu-kupu akan memberikan 9,375 hunger dan 8 hp. Untuk mentega kamu bisa mendapatkan 25 hunger dan 40 hp :D sehat kan?

Dan bagaimana kalau kamu tidak memiliki bunga di dekat base? jangan khawatir, buat jaring serangga dan tangkaplah kupu-kupu hidup. Kamu dapat menanam kupu-kupu di tanah dengan memegangnya dan klik di tanah. : D sekarang kamu siap untuk membunuh kupu-kupu.

This time i am capturing about how an old bell works :D
This new weapon is ready on Dont Starve RoG version, but havent been released in Dont Starve Together. Easy to craft and work fine (actually yea).

How to get old bell ?
1. Find Glommer Statue . Usually located near pig king on deciduous forest biome .

2. Mine glommer statue with pickaxe and it will drop an old bell bluepring, so just learn it.
3. Get glommer's flower at full moon ( pssst, usually happen at day 11, 31, 51, 71, etc ) , glommer and its flower will spawn, take the flower, it will follows you.

4.Kill it!!!!! Better not you directly, because if its you , it will spawn krampus. I usually rent pig and do ctrl f to glommer :D :D . to rent a pig u can give him any meat or egg. This glommer will drop glommer's wing.
5. Glommer's wing + glommer's flower = old bell . So after you learn the blueprint, on magic tab you can see old bell option.

And how to use it???

This old bell like calling a giant foot and this will step on the place you use it. So my tips is :
1. Use any sleep weapon to your enemy ( like pan flute, sleep dart, or ice staff)
2. When your enemy freeze, go near it and use old bell
3. Because old bell need a little time to call the big giant foot to come, move away from your summon place, because it can kills you too XD
4. Better kill your enemy near forest, because when giant foot come, it will break down all object near its step, so you can get free wood too lol
5. An old bell has 3x uses, so use it wisely.

For example, i used it to destroy burnt trees for free charcoal.

Hello dear dont starve fans

Since the cave beta series have been released, how about we try it :D
It's the similar method with Dont Starve RoG update . Just follow short step below :D

1. Turn off your DST game client.
2. Right click Dont starve together game at steam, and choose properties


3. On tab "BETAS" select beta you wanna choose, and choose "cavebeta - Public test for the caves beta"



4. After choose the cave beta, go to "LOCAL FILES" tab and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".



5.  When you click it, a windows pop up show a validating steam process. Wait until 100% and finish.



6. After validating you can see your Dont Starve together name change to [cavesbeta]



7. Click play and enjoy the game :D

There are 10 gesture that's been added to Don't Starve Together . Below is wilson as example :

Dear dont starve fans,
Whoever played RoG must be already know about this new plant - Cactus.
It grows at Desert Biome where you can find tumbleweed and goat too.

There are 2 type of cactus. With flower or no flower.
1. With flower
It can be found on summer. Gives 1 cactus flesh and 1 flower when picked


2. No flower
We can find at all season except summer, gives 1 cactus flesh when picked
 
Cactus flesh and flower categorized as veggie . When picked, it cost 6 hp with no armor, so better use armor like log suit or helmet when picked.

Cactus flesh at raw gives -3 hp, 12.5 hunger, and -5 sanity. When cooked it gives 1 hp, 12.5 hunger, and 15 sanity. Can be cooked for guacamole recipe too.

Cactus flower cant be cooked except using pot. It gives 8 hp, 12.5 hunger, and 5 sanity.
It can be cooked as flower salad recipe or to make floral shirt.

Sanity drop? No worry and cook these recipe :

1. Cooked Greencap
Very easy to make,just need to find green cap that rise at dusk time . Usually easy to find at swamp area.
Cooked green cap : 15 sanity, -1 hp, 0 hunger
Raw green cap      : -50 sanity, 0 hp, 12.5 hunger


2. Cooked Cactus Flesh - RoG
This one is easy too since can be found at anytime and any season. But you need to find Desert biome on RoG version. At summer the cactus gives flower that can be used for many thing (recipe and cloth).
Cooked cactus flesh : 15 sanity, 1 hp, 12.5 hunger
Raw cactus flesh : -5 sanity, -3 hp, 12.5 hunger

3. Taffy
If you have some beebox, it will be a cheap food.
Ingredient : 3 honey + anything (except any meats)
Taffy gives 15 sanity, -3 hp, and 25 hunger

4. Pumpkin Cookie
You can get the pumpki by planting random seed on farm.
Ingredient : 1 pumpkin + 2 honey + anything
Pumpkin cookies gives 15 sanity, 0 hp, and 37.5 hunger

5. Melonslice - RoG

It's a bit hard to make melon slice, since you need to get watermelon (plant on farm) and an ice (from gletser, usually at winter and autumn).
Ingredient : 1 watermelon + 1 twig + 1 ice + anything (except eggs,meats,and veggie)
Melon slices gives 20 sanity, 3 hp, and 12.5 hunger

6. Ice Cream - RoG
It's the best sanity recovery recipe from all food. But you need a bit rare ingredient like dairy product (milk from goat or buter from butterfly) , honey , and ice.
Ingredient : 1 dairy product + 1 ice + 1 honey + anything (except meats,eggs,veggies, and twigs)
Ice cream gives 50 sanity, 0 hp, and 20 hunger.

And also each cooked food mostly gives 5 sanity. So, keep sane :)

Well Dont starve fan must be all know about this.
So to unlock Maxwell Character you need to finish adventure mode on dont starve. How???

1. Find Maxwell Door

Maxwell door is a teleport machine that can jump you from Sandbox mode to Adventure mode. You just need to find it on map at Sandbox mode whoever character you use (in picture i already unlock the Maxwell char). Activate the Maxwell's door

2. Choose "Lets Go"
After you activate the door there will be question. If you choose "Lets Go" you will move to the adventure mode :D

3. Dark Shadow Hand
When you choose lets go option, a big hand will grab and suck you out. You will bring nothing in your inventory.

4. 5 World You Need to Conquer

Welcome to Adventure Mode. The mission is to conquer 5 random world with finding 5 things (potato,ring,crank,box, and wooden thing ) on each map using divining rod (given). Each world has different characteristic :

*A cold reception  :  same with sandbox mode but season change very quickly
*King of winter  :  probably the 2nd hardest world because all is winter
*The game is afoot  :  start with 10 day winter,after that endless summer
*Archipelago  :  things are probably on each of 6 island separated by wormhole
*two world  :  no things on main island,need tot travel thru hole and each biome has different time cycle
*Darkness : this world is the hardest because the world is all night. So need to prepare from previous world. This world always appear as the 5th / last world of all 5.

When player finish 5 world, there will be epilogue that shows a drama between player and Maxwell. When you finish this chapter you will unlock the Maxwell character and every character you use before changed to Maxwell.

If you die on Adventure mode you will jump back to Sandbox with lose nothing but you need to restart adventure mode from the very beginning.And each chapter you conquer, you can bring 4 items with you. So tips are always have Tam O Hat and walking cane :)

1. Burn Yourself!!!

In dont starve its the fastest way to die since its easy to do (burn trees n stand near) and kill 8-12 hp each second :) except willow is lower . This is the 1st easiest and fastest way to suicide in dont starve and very recommended LOL

2. Aww, dont hit me tentacle!

For dying by tentacle you need to find it first in swamp (take time lol). Tentacle kill 34 hp each hit with attack period 2 times :) so in 1 time you will lose 68 hp which for wilson need 3 times to die.

3. Let me kill the spider, or ..

Spider can easily kill you too since it kills 20 hp each hit and their attack period is 3 times. So if there is 10 spider you can die in 1 hit time :D

4. Charlie! its me!

Charlie is an invisible hostile damage source. it kills 100hp in 1 hit. It happen when player stay at dark without light . The sign that she will come is when player state something (i.e Charlie? Its me! Maxwell! for Maxwell character).
Its the 2nd easiest and fastest way to die since it needs nothing and player can die in 2 hit :P

5. Stay hungry stay foolish

Well its easy too using this way but you need about several days to get starving (except wolfgang) to drain your hunger, depend on character full hunger.
When its empty, hunger drain 1.25 hp each second and your surroinding become red.

6. What? its winter?
Freezing is easy to kill you too , but it only happen at winter. So this one is the worst way to die if you wanna suicide XD LOL
Freezing happen when player temperature is low (5 degrees for vanilla and 10 degrees on RoG). When temperature below 0 degrees, screen will frost and hp will flow down about 1.25 each second.


7. Is that beef or buffalo or something :O
Beefalo is cute, combination between beef and buffalo . Its easy to die in herd, just hit 1 of them and all will kill you. 1 hit of beefalo make you lose 34 hp (same with tentacle). So its very easy to die from beefalo,but you need to find them!

*You must already own Don't Starve Together. (Reign of Giants not required.) The game must not be running.

*In your Steam client right click on Don’t Starve Together Beta and select “Properties”












*Select the “Betas” tab












*Enter the code “rogtogetherbeta” in the text box and press the “Check Code” button. You should see a confirmation message that the RoG_Together_Beta is now available.













*In the drop-down under menu select to opt into RoG_Together_Beta. You should see a message that you have successfully opted into the RoG_Together_Beta. Press “Close”.












*Usually after it, they will ask for some update. Update game and enjoy playing
